Purpose

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of Little Ones Preschool is to minister to young families by providing a safe, loving, creative, and Christian environment that meets the emotional, social, spiritual, physical, and academic needs of your children. It is our goal to provide your child with a stimulating and enriching Christian environment that will promote kindness, respect, generosity, and encourage a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Philosophy and Goals

At Little Ones Preschool we believe in preserving the experience of childhood as we plant the seeds of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. It is important that each child grows and develops at his/her individual level. Our preschool provides a safe, clean, secure environment supervised by caring adults. Our program offers concrete experiences which involve early learning skills in math, language, science, art, music, and large/small muscle development. In addition, invaluable learning takes place through social experiences and dramatic play which encourage problem solving, creative thinking, and cooperation.  Click here to see one of our students.

We believe in a solid, spiritual foundation. This is done through Bible stories, songs, verses, finger plays, prayer, and Chapel time. Children will learn that they are special and that God loves them.

The staff is composed of professional people trained in Early Childhood education. The staff also participates in various organizations and on-going training to benefit the education and safety of children. Parents are an integral part of Little Ones Preschool and may participate as volunteers. Working together, we can be a positive influence on your children and reinforce values. We emphasize parent/staff communication and respect parents as the principal influence in the young child’s life. We believe in is the responsibility of parents to guide their children through the various stages of growth and development to become an independent adult. Little Ones Preschool has been established to assist you in meeting these God-given responsibilities.
